Adobe – VP Financial Services & Insurance

Violet Bell is an Executive at Adobe where she heads the Financial Services vertical for Digital Marketing across banking, wealth management and insurance clients.  Her interests in revolutionizing customer experience, driving ROI and improving efficiencies through digital enablement led her to Adobe.  Ms. Bell leads the WONY (Women of New York) effort for Adobe and enjoys mentoring and coaching women. She has deep knowledge in information technology spanning 30 years of experience in business transformation, governance, security, IT strategy and marketing. Prior to Adobe, Ms. Bell was a Managing Director at Accenture where she was responsible for helping Fortune 500 companies in transforming their businesses by driving efficiencies in technology and digital efforts in financial services. Ms. Bell holds an undergraduate degree in Management and an MBA in International Business and Marketing.

CommonBond – Director of Marketing

Nikki Singh is the Director of Marketing at CommonBond which is a fast-growing fintech startup based in NYC. CommonBond is a marketplace lending platform that started off in the $1 trillion student loan asset class. Nikki leads the team that is dedicated to growing the in-school portion of the business. She previously worked at American Express where she launched first ever digital products for the company including: Bluebird – a joint venture with Walmart that brought digital banking services to the underbanked across the United States and Amex Express Checkout – a digital wallet solution that competes with Google Wallet, PayPal & Visa Checkout. She also served in a chief of staff capacity in the Global Network Business which was a global organization overseeing the complete technology infrastructure for all transaction processing. She is a graduate of Harvard Business School and New York University.

Playpen Labs – Software Engineer, Founder

Hadiyah Mujhid is a software engineer and entrepreneur. Her personal mission is to help others through entrepreneurship and technology. As founder of Playpen Labs, a software company, Hadiyah is responsible for architecting and building software solutions for startups and nonprofits. She also is a part-time instructor at Hackbright Academy, a coding school for women. Hadiyah holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University of Maryland Eastern Shore and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Drexel University.

Macy’s – GVP, Strategy & Innovation

Leslie Revitt is the GVP, Strategy & Innovation at Macy’s, where she is responsible for vision, strategy, and cross-functional implementation of new business development and innovative concepts.  Previously, she was the VP, Omnichannel Strategy, responsible for implementing strategies around omnichannel fulfillment and in-store technology experiences.  Prior to joining Macy’s, Leslie held a variety of roles, including strategy consulting with Boston Consulting Group, quantitative market research at MaPS (a Millward Brown company), and supply chain / logistics at PepsiCo.

Leslie holds a B.S., Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Pooja is a Senior Product Manager at Amazon where she is responsible for developing innovative cross-border eCommerce solutions to help Amazon third party Sellers to sell globally. Prior to Amazon, she worked as a Technology consultant at Deloitte for five years. Pooja is passionate about empowering young women and also led a mentorship program in India to motivate underprivileged girls to continue their education. Pooja received an MBA from Cornell University and a bachelors in Chemical Engineering from VTU (India).

Kathryn W. Guarini

Kathryn W. Guarini

IBM – Vice President, Offering Management

Kathryn W. Guarini is IBM Vice President, Offering Management for z Systems and LinuxONE. She is passionate about delivering innovative solutions to meet the ever-changing needs of IT customers. Kathryn has held various technical, management, and executive positions in research, development, and business. She is active in mentoring scientists and engineers of all ages, especially women. Kathryn holds more than 60 patents and over 60 technical publications. She received a Ph.D. from Stanford University and a B.S. degree from Yale University, both in applied physics.
