Johnson Women in Technology in Conference

The Johnson Women in Technology Conference (JWiT) is organized by the students of the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. Designed to attract students and professionals alike, the event features engrossing panel discussions and valuable networking events.

Mission

2016 Johnson Women in Technology co-chairs Janaki Palaniappan and Elizabeth Kraushar speak about women in leadership at Cornell University.

Over the past decade, the number of women leaders in the technology industry has remained below 15 percent. On March 4 in New York City, the Johnson Women in Technology (JWiT) Conference will help drive the national dialogue and action towards advancing opportunities for women with the theme Dare to Tech. We are the only student-run MBA conference dedicated to creating a community of women MBAs, advocates and tech leaders that provides mentorship and knowledge-sharing about strategies for success.

Our Mission

Create a forum for women MBAs, industry leaders and advocates to:

Engage.  Bring together individuals with varying experiences in an environment where they can exchange creative thoughts and ideas.

Connect.  Build a community of leaders who move women in technology forward. Bring together individuals with varying experiences in an environment where they can exchange creative thoughts and ideas.

Inspire.  Provide a forum for dynamic individuals throughout technology to demonstrate their achievements and growing opportunities for women in the field.
